PCU Registered Nurse - Contract

Title: Registered Nurse - PCU
Duration: 13 weeks
Location: 1425 Portland Ave Bldg 3 Rochester, NY 14621
Start Date: 10/13/2026
Schedule: Night (4x12 Hours) 19:00 7:00

• Shift/Contract: 7p–7a | 13 weeks

• Weekend: Every other weekend

• Charting: EPIC required

• RTO: Submit at time of submission

• Holiday: Must be available every other holiday, if needed

• First-Time Travelers: Accepted

• Local Rule: No RNs within 75 miles; LPN locals accepted

• License: Active NY Single-State RN License required — NY is not compact; pending license not accepted

• Certifications:BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (valid NIHSS required at submission)

• Experience: PCU/Stepdown/DOU/IMC; telemetry required

• Patient Ratio: 1:4–5 | Adults & geriatrics

• Patient Population: Long-term pulmonary, ENT surgery, and surgical patients requiring stepdown care

• Clinical Skills: Dysrhythmia management, cardiac monitoring, rapid response/code teams, O/NC, non-invasive airway management, non-titrated cardiac drips, blood products, central/peripheral lines, IV therapy/phlebotomy, isolation precautions

• Floating: Required within skillset

• Scrubs: Any combination of navy blue & white

• Call-Off: Client may cancel up to 3 shifts during the 13-week contract without charges.
