What You’ll Do

• Provide specialized nursing care on the Progressive Care Unit within a floating pool setting
• Float to other OSU-affiliated hospitals within a short walking distance
• Manage patient ratios typically of 1:3-4
• Perform IV starts, telemonitoring, and other critical nursing procedures
• Document clinical data accurately in Epic electronic health records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient care and safety
• Adapt swiftly between units of similar or lower acuity levels

What You Need

• Valid Ohio RN license
• 2+ years of recent hospital experience in a similar setting
• Certification in BLS and ACLS
• Proficiency in IV starts, telemonitoring, and Epic EMR
• Strong communication and multitasking skills

About the Assignment

This role is based at a prominent healthcare facility in Columbus, Ohio. While primarily serving on the PCU, flexibility to float within other units of similar acuity is required.
