PCB Plating Technician

SUMMARY: Performs duties required to run pattern plate line and maintain equipment. LEVEL DESCRIPTORS: Knowledge- General knowledge of plating practices and quality system requirements.

Job Title: PCB Plating Technician 
Location: South Tucson
Terms: Temp To Hire
Salary/rate: $15.00/hr

SUMMARY:

• Performs duties required to run pattern plate line and maintain equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follow process work instructions
• Check equipment for proper condition and operation
• Verify materials specifications with traveler (Schematic to follow Work Order)
• Run line (Plates go through a step by step process). 
• Inspect boards as they come out of line
• Update job in Prototrak, initial or sign and date traveler gate(s), and move job to next department.
• Complete/Document plate process log
• Perform required preventative maintenance
• Maintain clean work area

LEVEL DESCRIPTORS:

• Knowledge- General knowledge of plating practices and quality system requirements
• Direction- Works under general direction
• Complexity- Solves problems of average complexity within own department

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Two years experience running plating line preferred. 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Stand for long periods at machine
• Use hands
• Lift 25 lbs. frequently, 50 lbs. occasionally
• Vision requirements include close, color, depth perception
• Exposure to Copper Minerals and other chemicals.
