    Description

    PCB Assembly (PCA) Technician
    The PCA technician candidate will be assembling PCB boards and utilizing SMT and thru-hole soldering techniques. Good candidates must have strong soldering background and electrical assembly experience; Arbin will offer training to those with less experience but demonstrate strong learning skills and work ethics.
     
    Major Areas of Responsibility 
    • Read work orders, follow production BOM, drawings, and routings 
    • Performing (though-hole and SMT) soldering duties; pre-wave soldering assembly,
    • Performing PCA modification tasks
    • Performing PCA mechanical parts assembly, including heatsinks, rivets, electrical connectors, etc.
    • Performing inspection on finished PCA boards, including visual and electrical inspection. 
    • Communicate any quality issues to the immediate supervisor/team lead 
    • Maintain a clean and safe working environment 
    Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 
    • Must be able to work full time 
    • Be able to use soldering tools, power tools (power drills),
    • Knowledge of basic electronic components,
    • Have a good mechanical sense of how parts fit together,
    • Good working ethics, learning habits,
    • Basic computer and math knowledge 
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Ability to read and write English, follow verbal and written instructions 
    Education and Experience 
    • A High School diploma or GED required 
    • Min 1 years electronic printed circuit board (PCB) assembly experience, 
    • Demonstrate strong learning skills.
    Physical Demands 
    Occasionally lifting ~30 lbs.
