Key Objective:
Successfully prepare Plugs and Master patterns for the Mold lamination team
Maintain schedule and quality
Job Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Fair plug and sand all surfaces to designed preliminary shape.
Hand sand and buff to polished surface.
Wax finished plug/master in preparation for mold build.
Tape and prepare plugs and master patterns for spraying
Make sure that plugs and masters are clean with no contaminates before spraying
Maintain all areas and keep equipment clean, neat, and organized at all times
Conduct daily routine maintenance of equipment
Store all materials safely at the end of the day
Conduct operations using TDC fabrication approved processes (ISPC)
Do housekeeping and other job-related duties assigned by supervisor.
Work on any special projects as needed.
Maintain department schedule to meet key milestones.
Ensure all operations are performed safely
Willing to work all shifts.
Other duties may be assigned.
Proficiencies:
Use of quality assurance equipment, radius gauge, etc.

Sanding techniques

Responsible for the proper maintenance of all equipment used in their area and workplace organization using the 5S methodology.
