- Payroll Tax Specialist
Compensation
- $35-45/hr commensurate with experience

Key Responsibilities of the Tax Filing Specialist
- Complete approximately 167 to 175 recurring tax filings across multiple companies and states.
- Prepare Form 941, withholding, SUTA, unemployment, state, and sales tax filings.
- Pull reports from the MQ ERP system and use existing Excel files to support tax computations.
- Review filing information for completeness and escalate issues to the manager.
- Maintain filing progress against company-specific deadlines.
Must-Have Skills/Experience
- Previous experience completing Form 941, withholding tax, SUTA, or unemployment tax filings.
- Experience supporting multistate tax filings for multiple companies or legal entities.
- Working knowledge of Excel and the ability to learn an unfamiliar ERP system quickly.
