Payroll Systems Analyst – SAP Payroll. This is a

Pay Range: $45 - $50/hour. Traveler benefits as per agency package. (Benefits vary by vendor and assignment.)
Key Responsibilities:- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to payroll and business processes.
- Analyze information from multiple sources and translate findings into clear business and functional documentation.
- Develop and maintain documentation including business requirements, process flows, test plans, test scripts, and test results.
- Assist with developing and executing testing for payroll systems and related downstream systems.
- Support system design, implementation, testing, and process improvement activities.
- Analyze payroll processes and related system interfaces that impact payroll systems and the General Ledger.
- Participate in meetings with internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicate business and technical information.
- Assist in identifying and documenting internal controls to support audit requirements.
- Manage multiple assignments and changing priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Work effectively with minimal supervision in a fast-paced and occasionally high-pressure environment.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field, or equivalent education, training, and experience.
- Experience working with payroll processes.
- Hands-on SAP Payroll experience is required.
- 3–5 years of experience in Payroll, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Experience with business systems analysis, functional design, documentation, and process modeling.
- Experience supporting system design and implementation.
- Experience with UAT, regression testing, test planning, test execution, and test documentation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Experience working with payroll systems, interfaces, and downstream financial systems is highly desirable.
- Ability to read, interpret, and understand multiple labor agreements.
