We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting Payroll Specialist to join our vibrant tech services team. As a pivotal player in our finance department, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of payroll processing for our rapidly growing tech firm. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in payroll processing, with a particular focus on iSolved software. Experience with Unanet or Costpoint is a major plus.

Job Details

Responsibilities:
As a Consulting Payroll Specialist, your duties will include but are not limited to:
1. Administering all payroll operations, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
2. Utilizing iSolved software to manage payroll procedures, employee data, and financial information.
3. Collaborating with the HR team to ensure accurate employee data and to resolve any payroll discrepancies.
4. Implementing, maintaining, and reviewing payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
5. Ensuring compliance with current government regulations.
6. Preparing and providing payroll related reports to management as needed.
7. Assisting with audits and inquiries related to payroll information.
8. Providing training and support to the team members on the use of payroll-related systems.

Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have:
1. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in payroll processing, preferably within the tech services industry.
2. Proficiency in iSolved software is mandatory. Experience with Unanet or Costpoint is highly desirable.
3. A solid understanding of federal, state, and local tax and labor laws.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
5. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times.
7. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
8. A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
