Description
Harvard Resource Solutions/Venteon is seeking a Payroll Specialist on a temporary basis for our manufacturing client in Plymouth, MI.

Job Description
Process accurate and timely payroll for approximately 4,000 employees across multiple companies nationwide.
Review and validate payroll data, including hours, earnings, deductions, taxes, and adjustments.
Utilize UKG, SAP Smart Compliance, ADP, and Workday to process and maintain payroll information.
Research and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries.
Ensure payroll transactions are processed in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations.
Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation.
Perform payroll audits and reconciliations to ensure data accuracy.
Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other internal departments to resolve payroll-related issues.
Prepare reports and perform data analysis using Microsoft Excel.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and payroll information.
Provide general payroll support as needed.
Qualifications
3+ years of payroll processing experience, preferably supporting a large employee population.
Experience processing payroll for multiple companies, locations, or states strongly preferred.
Working knowledge of UKG, SAP Smart Compliance, ADP, and Workday.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict payroll deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Manufacturing or large corporate payroll experience is a plus.
Strong interpersonal skills required.
