Our client located in the Keene, NH area is looking for a Payroll Specialist to join their team!
Your qualifications for the Payroll Specialist position are as follows:
- High School Diploma
- 2+ years recent/relevant payroll experience
- Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office Excel
- Experience with accounting/payroll software required
- Experience with Paychex software is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Professional verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with shifting priorities to meet deadlines

- $24-$29/hour depending on skills and experience

As the Payroll Specialist your duties will include:
- Process payroll
- Prepare and pay taxes
- Reconcile accounts
- Track and manage retirement benefit data
- Ensure accurate employee/payroll data
- Assist employees with payroll question
- Ensure compliance with Federal/State/Local standards
- Other projects and duties as assigned
