Job Duties
Process biweekly or semi-monthly payroll accurately and on schedule.
Review and verify employee timekeeping, hours, deductions, and payroll data.
Maintain accurate and confidential payroll and employee records.
Calculate wages, deductions, taxes, benefits, and other payroll adjustments.
Assist with year-end payroll activities, including W-2s and other required payroll reporting.
Reconcile payroll reports and identify and resolve discrepancies.
Process payroll corrections, adjustments, and off-cycle payments as needed.
Respond professionally to employee questions regarding payroll, deductions, and pay statements.
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Associate's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
High School Diploma (or equivalent)
Qualification
2+ years of payroll processing or payroll administration experience
Knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations and requirements
Experience handling confidential employee and payroll information
Experience reconciling payroll reports and resolving discrepancies
