At H2O Care Partners, we believe every paycheck is a promise. As a Payroll Specialist, you are the person who ensures those promises are kept. You will work closely with our Payroll & HRIS Manager to process accurate payroll for hundreds (and soon thousands) of employees across the country. You are a detail-oriented professional with a "Customer First" mindset, dedicated to supporting our technicians and Partners with clarity, empathy, and precision. Key Responsibilities: · Process Payroll: Accurately enter and verify pay data, including overtime, bonuses, commissions, and deductions. · System Maintenance: Keep our HRIS (UKG Ready) up to date with new hire information, terminations, and status changes with 100% accuracy. · Customer Support: Serve as a dedicated resource for employees and Partners, resolving payroll and benefit inquiries with speed and kindness. · M&A Integration: Support the onboarding of new partner businesses by assisting with data migration and system setup. · Benefit Administration: Assist in ensuring benefit deductions are correctly applied and reconciled with carrier invoices. · Continuous Improvement: Identify ways to leverage AI and automation to make our payroll processes faster and more accurate as we scale. Required Skills & Experience: · 2-4 years of payroll experience in a professional environment. · Detail Obsessed: You are known for catching errors and maintaining perfect records. · Customer Mindset: You enjoy helping people and can explain complex topics simply and kindly. · Tech Savvy: Comfortable with payroll systems (UKG Ready preferred) and strong Excel skills. · Knowledge: Familiarity with multi-state payroll regulations and basic labor laws. · Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in HR, Accounting, or a related field.
