Responsibilities
- Process and manage bi-weekly payroll for all employees in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain payroll records and reconcile payroll reports.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with HR and accounting departments to address payroll discrepancies and resolve employee payroll-related questions.
- Prepare payroll tax filings and assist with audits as needed.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of payroll systems and software.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or in a similar payroll role.
- Strong understanding of payroll laws and regulations.
- Proficiency with payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree or higher in accounting, finance, or related field is a plus.
