    Salary/Payrate: $110-140K annually and AWESOME benefits!!!

    Work Environment: 2 days on-site, 3 Days WFH

    Term: Permanent / Fulltime 

    Bachelor’s degree required: No

    Referral Fee:AMS will pay $500 should the person you refer gets hired

    Payroll Specialist

    Job Description: A mid‑sized law firm is seeking a Payroll Specialist to support payroll operations and ensure accurate, timely processing across multiple locations. This role handles day‑to‑day payroll administration, compliance tasks, and coordination with HR and Finance.



    Responsibilities:

    • Process regular payroll cycles and maintain accurate employee data.
    • Ensure compliance with federal and multi‑state payroll regulations.
    • Serve as a point of contact for payroll questions and issue resolution.
    • Review timekeeping, pay schedules, and onboarding‑related payroll details.
    • Prepare payroll reports and assist with reconciliations.
    • Process benefit‑related deductions and contributions.
    • Support system updates, process improvements, and payroll‑related projects.
    • Maintain payroll documentation and ensure confidentiality.



    Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of payroll experience.
    • Strong understanding of multi‑state payroll requirements.
    • Experience in a professional services environment preferred.
    • Proficiency with payroll systems and strong Excel skills.
    • High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
    • Strong communication skills and ability to work with all levels of the organization.
