JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Processes payroll data for all school district employees and maintains accurate,
up-to-date files of all payroll information.
- Prepares and/or processes all contract re-calculations, extra-curricular contracts, coaching
contracts, vacation payouts, retirement and resignation payouts, direct deposit forms and
all other special payments to employees.
- Prepares required governmental reports, retirement, IRS, W-2's etc.
- Processes payroll deductions in compliance with local, state and federal statutes.
- Archives payroll records.
- Maintains leave, vacation and absence information on all employees.
- Processes payment for substitutes in district and reviews substitute payment for those
processed through a third party.
- Responsible for understanding, tracking and properly reporting aspects of sick
bank, unpaid leave and FMLA leave.
- Works with representatives of government, employee unions and retirement
agencies to provide information.
- Processes mortgage verifications and final salary affidavits.
- Regular and reliable attendance
- Responsible for all aspects of the payroll process for the designated buildings assigned
