    TempExperts is seeking an experienced Payroll Processing Specialist to join a dynamic Human Resources team in Miami, FL. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while supporting employee records, payroll compliance, and HR administrative functions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to maintaining confidentiality while delivering exceptional internal customer service.

    Responsibilities:
    • Process full-cycle payroll accurately and on schedule for a multi-state workforce.
    • Review payroll information, employee records, and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness.
    • Maintain employee records within the HRIS and payroll systems.
    • Audit and reconcile timekeeping records prior to payroll processing.
    • Coordinate with managers to resolve payroll discrepancies, missing information, and timekeeping issues.
    • Process employee status changes, including new hires, transfers, and terminations.
    • Verify employment eligibility documentation and maintain compliance with applicable regulations.
    • Process wage garnishments, deductions, and other payroll adjustments.
    • Prepare off-cycle payrolls, adjustments, and special payroll requests as needed.
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company payroll policies and procedures.
    • Respond to employee questions regarding payroll, deductions, timekeeping, and earnings.
    • Generate payroll reports and assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end payroll activities.
    • Assist with payroll system maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and process improvements.
    • Support onboarding activities related to payroll and employee record setup.
    • Maintain strict confidentiality of employee and payroll information.
    • Participate in special projects and perform other payroll or HR-related duties as assigned.
    Qualifications:
    • Minimum of three years of payroll processing experience.
    • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
    • Experience processing payroll for a multi-location or multi-state workforce required.
    • Working knowledge of payroll laws, wage and hour regulations, and payroll best practices.
    • Experience with HRIS, payroll, and timekeeping systems.
    • Strong Microsoft Office skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel preferred.
    • Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information.
    • Bilingual English/Spanish language preferred.
