Job Title: Benefits Coordinator / Specialist

Location: Administrative Offices (Central Office)

Pay: $32.00 - $34.00 per hour depending upon experience
Overview: Performs administrative and technical work coordinating and processing the Groton Public School's (GPS) health insurance, pension and related benefits for all employees. Assists Payroll with bi-weekly payroll processing. Maintains retirees' insurance benefits. Work is performed under the general supervision and direction of the Director of Finance. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Business or Public Administration or a closely related field plus one (1) - three (3) or more years' experience that includes handling multiple health and insurance benefits in a human resources office or a school district. Knowledge of Payroll or payroll experience is preferred. Or an equivalent combination of education, experience and/or training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
