    Responsibilities:
    • Data Collection and Verification:
      • Collect and review employee timesheets and payroll data from approved source systems to identify missing, incomplete, or inconsistent information before payroll processing.
      • Verify the accuracy of Kronos data entries; verify the accuracy of UKG WFM data entries.
      • Ensure data integrity during the integration process.
    • Payroll Processing:
      • Process payroll accurately and on time, following company policies and government regulations.
      • Calculate and input adjustments, bonuses, and deductions as necessary.
      • Address any discrepancies or issues that arise during processing.
    • Accuracy Verification:
      • Verify payroll outputs for correctness, including tax withholdings, benefits, and deductions.
      • Reconcile discrepancies and resolve payroll-related concerns.
    • Process Optimization:
      • Partner with the Payroll Manager and payroll team to document current processes, identify control gaps or inefficient steps, and recommend practical improvements that increase accuracy and efficiency.
      • Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
    • Compliance and Reporting:
      • Apply established payroll procedures and escalate potential compliance issues to help support adherence to applicable federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
      • Generate and distribute payroll reports as required.
    • Documentation:
      • Maintain accurate records of payroll transactions, adjustments, and related documentation.
      • Assist in audits and provide necessary documentation as requested.

    Qualifications:
    • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in finance or accounting is a desirable.
    • Experience in payroll processing, preferably with Oracle and UKG Pro systems knowledge.
    • Strong understanding of payroll principles, tax regulations, and wage and hour laws.
