The School District of Hartford Jt. #1 (HJT1) is seeking a skilled, detail-oriented, and motivated Payroll Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with payroll processing, the Affordable Care Act (ACA), and Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS), along with a strong understanding of accounting principles and payroll compliance. We are looking for someone who takes initiative, brings a positive attitude and strong work ethic to the District, and appreciates the value of being part of a collaborative team. HJT1 is a 4K-8th Grade district located in Washington and Dodge Counties; 35 miles northwest of Milwaukee, 55 miles south of Oshkosh, and 60 miles northeast of Madison. The city of Hartford is in the rolling hills of the scenic Kettle Moraine with Pike Lake State Park, Holy Hill Basilica & National Shrine and Erin Hills Golf Course minutes from the city limits. We are a community of over 16,000 with strong education, and many attractions such as the Schauer Arts Center and Recreation Center, and a variety of retail stores and restaurants. Hartford is an active community with many organizations and groups uplifting the home community feel. The HJT1 District is made up of two elementary buildings and one middle school building.
