Position Overview
Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking a meticulous Payroll Clerk to join their team in Phoenix, AZ. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The position requires working 100% onsite and offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals in the construction industry.
Responsibilities
- Audit and data entry of employee timecards with an exceptional attention to detail.
- Utilize strong Excel skills for data management and reporting purposes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures during the payroll process.
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to resolve any payroll discrepancies.
- Assist with additional payroll-related tasks as directed by the supervisor.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity of payroll data.
Qualifications
- High School diploma is required.
- 2+ years of experience in payroll processing.
- Experience in the construction industry is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Required Work Hours
Monday to Friday, first shift.
Location
Phoenix, AZ, 100% in-office.
Salary: 47k - 50k
