    Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00am - 4:30pm

    Job Summary: Assists in the processing of payroll for all Health System entities

    Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED.

    Licensure, Registration and/or Certification: None.

    Work Experience: 1 - 2 years payroll experience.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Experience with PC spreadsheet applications and ability to communicate with timekeepers on a professional level. A working knowledge and ability to utilize Excel, Outlook and Microsoft Word. Effective interpersonal written and oral communication skills to be used with employees, management and outside customers. Ability to multitask. Ability to prioritize work responsibilities efficiently and effectively.

    Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Processes payroll deductions and employee reimbursements. Assists with the execution and auditing of the biweekly payroll run. Assists and/or executes the monthly payroll runs for Retirees and Physicians. Reconciles and E-files the monthly State withholding reports. Processes Garnishments, Child Supports, Levies & Bankruptcies for all Health System entities. Assists in the weekly processing of off-cycle check run. Handles payroll reviews and research for all Health System entities.

    Decision Making: Independent judgment in making minor decisions where alternatives are limited and standard policies/protocols have been established.

    Working Relationships: Works with internal customers via telephone or face to face interaction. Works with external customers via telephone or face to face interaction. Works with other healthcare professionals and staff.
