Join a large public healthcare organization supporting critical payroll operations in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. This role plays a key part in ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time while maintaining compliance and data integrity.
Responsibilities:
Process payroll for both hourly and salaried employees
Assist with entering and processing wage garnishments
Generate and process payroll transfer reports
Ensure accuracy of employee benefits deductions
Conduct audits to verify payroll accuracy and maintain data integrity
Support leadership with various accounting and payroll-related projects
Maintain organized and accurate payroll records
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum of 1 year of payroll or related experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Experience with QuickBooks preferred
Familiarity with Pay Choice or Payroll Associates systems preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
Effective communication skills in English (read, write, speak)
