Key Responsibilities (Payroll and Benefits Specialist):



  • Process and oversee multi-state payroll, including deductions, garnishments, bonuses, commissions, retroactive pay, executive compensation, and payroll taxes

  • Administer employee benefits and serve as a resource for benefits and payroll-related questions

  • Review payroll and benefits data for accuracy through regular audits and reconciliations

  • Research federal, state, and local payroll requirements and help ensure ongoing compliance

  • Manage payroll tax notices, state registrations, timekeeping, 401(k) contributions, and year-end W-2 processing

  • Maintain accurate employee information across ADP Workforce Now, UKG, and benefit carrier systems



Preferred Qualifications (Payroll and Benefits Specialist):



  • 5+ years of payroll and benefits experience preferred

  • Strong multi-state payroll knowledge

  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now strongly preferred

  • Strong Excel and reporting skills

  • Knowledge of payroll taxes, benefits administration, and compliance requirements
