    Job Order: Payroll Administrator

    Position Type: Full-Time
    Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
    • Early release on Fridays (typically half day once work is completed)
      Pay Type: Hourly
      Hours Per Week: 40

    This role will handle weekly, semi-monthly, and bonus payroll while ensuring compliance with all payroll-related procedures, taxes, and deductions.

    This is a great opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented and comfortable working with numbers. Prior payroll or accounting experience is helpful but not required—training will be provided. Candidates must maintain a professional demeanor and be willing to support additional HR functions as needed.



    Key Responsibilities
    Enter, maintain, and update payroll data including:
    • Pay rates, salaries, commissions, and bonuses
    • Hours worked, leave time, and holidays
    • Employee deductions, taxes, and benefit contributions
    • Employee personal information (addresses, etc.)
    • Ensure accurate payroll deductions and withholdings
    • Reconcile payroll records with the general ledger and monthly bank statements
    • Issue or reissue paychecks or direct deposits as needed (e.g., corrections, terminations)
    • Record and process federal and state payroll tax deposits
    • Assist with HR functions such as onboarding after payroll is completed mid-week
    • Cross-train in additional HR responsibilities as needed
    • Perform other duties as assigned
    Qualifications
    Required:
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Comfortable working with numbers
    • Professional attitude and reliability
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
    • Ability to learn payroll systems quickly

    Preferred (Not Required):
    • Experience in payroll, accounting, or bookkeeping
    • At least 6 months of payroll experience
