We're seeking a Payment Processing Representative in Knoxville who enjoys tracking payments, logging transactions, and helping the team stay on top of deadlines. Organized? Detail-obsessed? You're exactly who we want.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Payment Processing Representative to manage insurance and patient payment transactions for assigned regions. This role is ideal for candidates with medical billing knowledge who are committed to accuracy, compliance and strong follow-through.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required

Experience Requirements

• Six months of previous medical billing experience preferred
• Knowledge of coordination of benefits requirements and processes
• Knowledge of insurance rejection and denial processing
• Ability to accurately post information for collection and follow-up activity
• Demonstrated enthusiasm and commitment to assigned work

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to sit for extended periods while performing computer-based tasks
• Manual dexterity for data entry and processing electronic and manual payments
• Visual acuity for reviewing documentation and payment records

Job Duties

• Process payments from insurance companies and patients for assigned regions, either electronically or manually
• Provide supporting documentation for each payment transaction
• Apply knowledge of coordination of benefits requirements and processes
• Review and process insurance rejections and denials
• Post information accurately to support collection and follow-up activity
• Maintain a strong, consistent commitment to quality and accuracy in all assigned work
