Starting Wage for this exempt position: $62,587.20-$86,070.40, depending on experience

PLEASE NOTE: This is a remote position. Candidates will be required to have reliable broadband internet and personal cell phone service. Remote work may include online training and working day-to-day operations during Pacific Standard business hours. Candidates must live within the United States, and due to our pay practices, we are not able to employ candidates living in some states.

Position Summary

The Payer Relations Analyst provides analytical and modeling support for the evaluation and optimization of payer contracts. This role is responsible for developing reimbursement models, conducting standard contract analyses, and supporting Senior Payer Relations Analysts and leadership with data-driven insights. The Analyst plays a critical role in helping the organization understand payer performance and financial impact, contributing to broader efforts to ensure financial sustainability and effective contract management.

Position Qualifications

Experience

• 3 years of progressively responsible work experience related to data collection, analysis, and process optimization is required
• 3+ years of experience in healthcare finance, payer contracting, revenue cycle operations, revenue cycle analytics, project management, or decision support is required
• Proficiency in Excel skills is required
• Proficient in Epic, payer contracting systems, and data visualization tools, with knowledge of healthcare reimbursement models such as DRG, APC, fee schedules, and value-based arrangements is preferred

Education

• A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, economics, or a related field, or the equivalent in experience is required
