Paver Operator

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and precise operation of asphalt paving machines, ensuring smooth and consistent mat placement according to project specifications. Minimum 2 years of experience operating paving equipment on heavy highway or large-scale paving projects.

We are seeking an experienced Paver Operator to support our heavy highway construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and precise operation of asphalt paving machines, ensuring smooth and consistent mat placement according to project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate asphalt paver to spread and level hot mix asphalt on roadways and other surfaces

• Work closely with the paving crew to maintain consistent speed, depth, and alignment

• Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance to ensure proper functioning

• Monitor material flow and adjust machine settings as needed for optimal paving quality

• Communicate effectively with the foreman, screed operator, and dump truck drivers

• Follow all safety procedures and company policies on active job sites

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience operating paving equipment on heavy highway or large-scale paving projects

• Strong understanding of asphalt paving techniques and machine controls

• Ability to work in a team environment and take direction from supervisors

• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship

• Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, and travel as needed

Compensation: Based on experience $25-30/hr + benefits
