Patient Services Worker Job Details:
Location: 2415 Parkwood Dr. Brunswick, GA 31520
Schedule: 6:00am - 6:00pm (Days and hours may vary)
Starting Pay Rate: $14.50 hour (based on experience)
Temporary to hire
Responsibilities:
- Visits patients to introduce the services of the Food and Nutrition Services Department.
- Ensures that nutrition diet care orders are provided to the patient by offering appropriate menu selections.
- Communicate all patient food needs to the appropriate area of the Food and Nutrition Services Department.
- Delivers nourishments and/or snacks to patients as ordered by physician/dietitian in a timely manner and collects patient trays during meal service.
- Assists the clinical staff in ensuring all patients basic nutrition care needs are met.
- Inventories and re-stocks pantries, refrigerator, and freezers on assigned units.
- Maintains temperature logs for unit refrigerators and freezers.
- Maintains and adheres to all sanitation standards by following assigned cleaning schedules. Completes other sanitation tasks as assigned by the Supervisor/Relief Supervisor.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent, required
- Ability to obtain and maintain Food Safety Certification.
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting with attention to detail.
- Must be able to lift, bend, push, pull, and remain on feet for extended periods.
- Proof of immunizations and TB test required.
