    Description

    At MedCare Pediatric, we believe exceptional care starts with exceptional people. We provide personalized, one-on-one pediatric therapy and ABA services designed to help children reach their full potential. By partnering closely with families and supporting our therapists, we create meaningful, lasting outcomes for every child we serve.

    We are seeking a Patient Scheduler to join our team and play an important role in coordinating care for our patients and families. This position is responsible for managing patient and therapist schedules, communicating with families, and ensuring appointments are coordinated efficiently and accurately.

    The ideal candidate is organized, energetic, professional, and comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment with a high volume of calls and scheduling needs.

    Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate patient and therapist schedules to support consistent and efficient care.
    • Develop and maintain organized scheduling systems to maximize appointment availability.
    • Contact families regarding schedule changes, appointment confirmations, and other scheduling needs.
    • Answer, screen, and return phone calls, emails, and voicemail messages promptly and professionally.
    • Coordinate therapist call-ins, coverage, and communication with appropriate staff.
    • Complete and track required patient consent forms prior to or at the time of the initial evaluation.
    • Assist with front desk responsibilities as needed, including answering phones, checking patients in, and collecting co-pays.
    • Communicate effectively with families, therapists, and administrative staff to resolve scheduling issues and support a positive patient experience.

    Qualifications:

    Required:

    • 2+ years  previous experience in pediatric healthcare, therapy, or patient scheduling.
    • Comfortable managing a high volume of calls and scheduling requests.
    • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
    • Excellent customer service and professional communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
    • Energetic, goal-oriented, self-motivated, and dependable.

    Preferred:

    • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Schedule & Benefits

    • Full-Time: Monday–Friday, 9:30 AM–6:00 PM
