    Job Description:

    Is effectively involved with maintaining the safety for assigned patients through continuous observation and surveillance. Communicates with the Registered Nurse and patient care team to ensure a safe environment for medical patients requiring constant observation. Education: Preferred: High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience: Preferred: Previous patient sitter experience Skills: Must be 18 years of age or older Able to communicate and work with a wide variety of staff, patients and families Basic computer skills Ability to problem solve Flexibility and ability to remain alert to safety issues Licensure/Certification/Registration: N/A
