Now Hiring: Patient Registration Representative

Pay: $19.46 per hour
Location: Grand Blanc, MI
Schedule: Midnights 6:00 PM -6:30 AM
Employment Type: 13-week contract - possible extension or direct hire. 

Are you friendly, organized, and comfortable helping patients in a fast-paced healthcare environment? We are seeking a dependable Patient Registration Representative to provide a welcoming first point of contact while ensuring patient information is collected and entered accurately.

What You’ll Do

• Greet patients and visitors professionally and provide assistance throughout the registration process.
• Verify patient demographics, insurance coverage, identification, and contact information.
• Enter and update patient information accurately within the electronic medical record system.
• Collect required forms, signatures, copayments, and other applicable payments.
• Schedule appointments and provide patients with instructions and relevant information.
• Answer incoming calls and respond to patient questions.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements.
• Communicate with clinical teams, insurance providers, and other departments to resolve registration concerns.
• Perform general administrative duties, including scanning, filing, and maintaining records.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in patient registration, medical reception, healthcare administration, or customer service preferred.
• Strong computer, data-entry, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and customer-service abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a busy environment.
• Professional, compassionate, and detail-oriented approach.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, insurance verification, or electronic medical record systems is a plus.
