    What You’ll Do

    You’ll serve as a key point of contact for patients, visitors, and callers while ensuring accurate registration and efficient communication throughout the hospital.

    • Perform reception, patient registration, and switchboard functions, including directing calls and paging physicians and staff.
    • Register outpatient and Emergency Department patients, collecting and accurately entering demographic and financial information into MediTech.
    • Assist patients and visitors with registration questions, hospital policies, financial responsibilities, and patient rights.
    • Identify the appropriate payer or revenue source and ensure required information is complete and accurate.
    • Follow established procedures for emergency notifications and overhead paging, and perform other duties as assigned.
    • Other duties as assigned.

     

    Who We’re Looking For

    We’re looking for a dependable, detail-oriented professional who can provide excellent service while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

    • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; healthcare or similar registration experience preferred.
    • Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service, conflict resolution, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, and remain calm and flexible in a high-stress, changing environment.
    • Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately follow written and verbal instructions while multitasking.
    • Ability to build effective relationships with patients, guests, and coworkers and become proficient in required hospital systems within six months of hire.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    • Pay Range: $17.50 --$21.87/hour (based on experience)

    Compensation may vary outside this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
