Responsibilities

• 
  Lead and supervise Patient Financial Services/SBO teams
  
• 
  Oversee patient billing, collections, financial counseling, and customer service
  
• 
  Manage cash application, payment posting, refunds, credit balances, and reconciliation
  
• 
  Monitor self-pay collections and collection agency performance
  
• 
  Develop performance goals, reports, and improvement plans
  
• 
  Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations and payer requirements
  
• 
  Support process improvements, system changes, and employee development
  
• 
  Partner with internal departments to resolve patient billing concerns
  

Requirements

• 
  Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred
  
• 
  5+ years of patient accounting, third-party reimbursement, revenue cycle, or related healthcare experience
  
• 
  Minimum 3 years of supervisory/leadership experience
  
• 
  Experience with treasury or cash management required
  
• 
  Strong knowledge of healthcare billing, collections, reimbursement, and cash application
  

In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, qualifying revenue cycle leadership experience may be accepted.
