We are seeking qualified individuals to join our team and provide exceptional patient care! 

    Job Description Summary: 

    Under general supervision of a licensed provider, as a Patient Center Scheduling Coordinator, one must be detail oriented with excellent phone call diction, and outstanding customer service skills. We are seeking motivated individuals who can problem-solve and multitask as we are a fast-paced practice. Gain skill and knowledge of organization policies and procedures in support of the department.  

     

    This job is a full-time, benefited position at Summit Spine & Joint Centers that reports to the Scheduling Supervisor. This position’s primary location will be at the Administrative Building in Lawrenceville, GA 

     

    Responsibilities: 

    Maintaining vocal composure, answering and directing calls to respective departments 

    Scheduling/rescheduling patients depending on need, availability and urgency 

    Informing callers about our providers, service and practice locations 

    Assist and navigate patients to the correct facilities using mapping resources 

    Updating patient information on electronic medical records system 

    Translate and assist patients by addressing needs 

    Following all company policies on patient services standards 


    Skills And Abilities: 

    Must be personable and detail oriented as a representative of the practice while callers rely on proper information 

    Excellent verbal and written skills for proper documentation of encounters.  

    Work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment 

    Bilingual candidates encouraged 


    Education And Experience: 

    Background in using EMR software preferred 

    1 year of call center experience preferred 

    1+ years’ experience in healthcare preferred 

    Previous experience with eClinicalWorks preferred
