Patient Care Technician

Position Details ----------------

• Status: Full Time
• Facility: St. Anthonys Hospital
• Location: St. Petersburg, Florida
• Shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM, including every other weekend

Responsibilities ----------------

Provide direct patient care under the direction and supervision of an RN or LPN. Minimum requirements include one of the following:

• 6 months of acute care experience
• 1 year of skilled nursing facility experience
• Successful completion of a BayCare sponsored Nursing Assistant or PCT Internship
• Completion of Nursing Fundamentals RN or Nursing Foundation LPN Programs
• EMT certification
• Paramedic license for ER only
• Completion of a PCT or Nursing Assistant program which includes at least 40 hours of an external clinical component

Preferred Qualifications ----------------------

• 1 year of hospital-related field experience

Requirements ------------

• High School or Equivalent
• Current BLS Basic Life Support certification
