Position Title: Patient Care Technician
Location: Portland, OR 97211
Duration: 13 weeks
Work Schedule: Night 5x8-Hour (22:00 - 06:30)
Pay rate: 25$/hrResponsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, feeding, grooming, and ambulation.
- Obtain and document vital signs, intake/output, and patient observations.
- Assist with turning, repositioning, and transferring patients safely.
- Collect and transport specimens and perform routine catheter care.
- Maintain infection control standards and proper PPE usage.
- Assist with patient transport and support nursing staff with daily patient care.
- Operate equipment such as glucometers, pulse oximeters, Hoyer lifts, and hospital beds.
- Respond appropriately in emergency situations, including performing CPR when needed.
To be considered for this position, you should have: [Skills, Education, or Experience]- Minimum 2 years of Patient Care Technician or equivalent acute care experience.
- Current BLS Certification (Required).
- Experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
- Familiarity with Epic and/or Cerner EMR systems is a plus.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and patient care skills.
