As a Patient Care Technician in Perianesthesia, you will play an important role in supporting patients throughout their surgical journey while working alongside nurses, providers, and the broader perioperative team.

Position Summary
The Patient Care Technician provides safe, compassionate direct and indirect patient care to individuals receiving care within the Perianesthesia environment. Under the direction of the nursing and medical team, this role assists patients with comfort, personal hygiene, mobility, safety, and other care needs while supporting the overall plan of care.
The Patient Care Technician also assists with obtaining and documenting patient information, collecting specimens, maintaining equipment and supplies, and ensuring the clinical environment is clean, safe, and prepared to support patient care.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent
Experience: No experience required
Licensure: American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS Certification required. For Non-Certified team members hired prior to May 11, 2026, certification is not required, as relevant experience will be accepted in its place.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Job requires frequently bending/stooping and driving (Home Health Aide only). Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 20 - 50lbs and > 100lbs (Home Health Aide only). May be exposed to chemicals, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
The pay range for this role is $16.37 - $23.36 hourly. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate''s qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.
