    Responsibilities:

    The Patient Care Tech works alongside doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide direct patient care in a variety of healthcare environments. The Patient Care Technician plays a vital role in the healthcare delivery setting, often having more patient contact than any other team member, including doctors and nurses.

    Qualifications:

    Job Requirements:

    • 1+ years of patient care experience.
    • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

    Preferred Job Requirements:

    • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
    • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
    • Hospital experience.

     

    Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education, and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
