Patient Care Tech - MedSurg, Days - Thomson

Responsibilities: The Patient Care Tech, under the supervision of licensed clinical staff, provides care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, demonstrating competency with treatments, procedures and equipment appropriate to the clinical setting and hospital policy. 1 year of patient care experience in a hospital or long-term care facility required.

This position is at our facility in Thomson, GA. Enjoy the slower pace and less stress of a smaller community hospital. 

 

The schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts per week with a set schedule.

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Diploma required

Work Experience

• 1 year of patient care experience in a hospital or long-term care facility required

Licenses and Certifications

• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
• CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant Preferred
• Certification from a Patient Care Technician program Preferred
