    As a Patient Care Specialist, you play a direct role in saving the lives of our patients each day by serving our residents in a safe environment promoting long term recovery.  You will partner with the Patient Care Manager and the Executive Director to establish and maintain a therapeutic environment for our residents. 

    Requirements

    • Valid driver’s license
    • HS Diploma / GED
    • Associates degree preferred
    • CPR / First Aid

    Responsibilities:

    • Check in with manager for resident report and receive any added assignment.
    • Supervise resident AM/PM care.
    • Supervise patient medication, document all incoming medications, and coordinate with nurse and psychiatrist/physician regarding medication compliance.
    • Maintain residents’ schedule for your shift.
    • Observe and assure adherence to house rules.
    • Monitor all chores and work projects.
    • Run didactic groups and assist residents with recreational activities that promote comfort, security, and recovery.
