    We’re hiring for a Patient Care Representative for our San Marcos location at Stone Oak Allergy. Flexible schedule 2-3 days a week. 

    Patient Care Representatives at Stone Oak Allergy are client-focused individuals that pride themselves on being reliable, and well organized. A commitment to providing high quality care, the ability to maintain relationships with; patients, medical staff and providers, as well as perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment are essential skills for the Greater Austin Allergy team member.

    As a Patient Care Representative at Stone Oak Allergy, you can expect to work with today’s leaders in Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. Supporting this team, you will find yourself; communicating with patients in-person and over the phone, scheduling appointments and injections, proactively handling accounts receivable and receiving patient payments. Our team is a great part of what makes us so successful in providing allergy suffers with long-lasting relief!

    Patient Care Representative  Education and Experience Requirements:

    * Provide an outstanding patient experience during all phone conversations, office visits and while responding to patient concerns or complaints

    * Operate multi-line phone system in addition to standard office equipment (fax, copy, scan, email, etc.)

    * Ability and willingness to cross train and support other clinical areas when necessary

    * Maintains comprehensive knowledge of healthcare insurance and billing information; including processes and requirements

    * Ability to stand for extended periods of time throughout the day

    * Comply with regulations, standard operation procedures and state mandated laws

    * Document all appointment associated tasks in the Practice Management (PM), electronic medical record (EMR) and other systems as required accurately and in a timely manner (demographics, insurance information, charge slip entry, etc.)
