Schedule: Day Shift — Must be available to work between 7:15 AM and 5:00 PM

Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable, compassionate, and team-oriented Associate Patient Care Coordinator to support providers and patients in a busy healthcare environment. This position plays an important role in supporting daily patient care operations, coordinating appointments, handling patient requests, and assisting providers with administrative and billing-related needs.
The ideal candidate is a dependable and hardworking professional who is eager to learn, develop new skills, and grow within a healthcare setting. The successful candidate will work alongside 3 Associate Patient Care Coordinators and 3 Medical Assistants who are committed to providing excellent customer service and quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with check-in and check-out processes.
- Answer and manage incoming and outgoing telephone calls professionally.
- Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments.
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and coverage information.
- Collect patient copays, balances, and other applicable payments.
- Relay messages and information accurately between patients and healthcare providers.
- Assist providers with daily patient volume and administrative requests.
- Support patient care coordination and respond to patient questions and requests.
- Scan, fax, email, and organize patient and office documentation.
- Maintain accurate patient information and records.
- Assist with billing-related requests and administrative processes.
- Perform general clerical and office duties as needed.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and follow applicable healthcare policies and procedures.
- Provide professional, courteous, and compassionate customer service.
- Work collaboratively with Medical Assistants, Patient Care Coordinators, providers, and other members of the healthcare team.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous medical office experience.
- Experience working in Hematology/Oncology.
- Experience with patient scheduling, insurance verification, check-in/check-out, or medical office administration.
- Experience handling copays, balances, billing inquiries, and patient communications.
No professional license or certification is required.
