    The Patient Care Coordinator is an essential member of our healthcare team, helping create a welcoming and positive experience for every patient. This role is responsible for coordinating appointments, communicating with patients and families, maintaining accurate medical records, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the office.

    You’ll work closely with a small, collaborative team and report directly to the Office Manager. This is an in-office position with no travel required, making it an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working directly with patients while developing their healthcare and administrative skills.

    Responsibilities

    • Serve as a friendly and professional point of contact for patients and families.
    • Coordinate and schedule patient appointments while ensuring timely follow-up.
    • Communicate clearly with patients regarding appointments, questions, and next steps.
    • Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date patient and medical records.
    • Complete data entry and administrative tasks related to patient care and communication.
    • Follow up with patients as needed to support continuity of care.
    • Provide responsive and compassionate customer service.
    • Collaborate with the Office Manager and team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
    • Protect patient privacy and handle confidential information appropriately.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Previous experience in healthcare, customer service, medical administration, or patient coordination is preferred but not required.
    • Associate degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Medical Assisting, or a related field is a plus.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Comfortable learning electronic medical records and scheduling systems.
    • Professional, dependable, and patient-focused.
    • Ability to work effectively in a small, collaborative team environment.
