About the Role:
New Jersey Center for Oral Surgery is looking for a friendly and organized Patient Care Coordinator/Dental Front Desk professional to join our team in Florham Park and Caldwell, NJ. This is a fantastic opportunity to be the welcoming face of our practice while playing a vital role in delivering an exceptional patient experience from the very first interaction.



Responsibilities:

• Greet and check in patients, ensuring a warm and professional front desk experience
• Check patients out and schedule surgical procedures
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments, managing the daily calendar efficiently
• Verify dental insurance eligibility and referrals
• Collect patient payments and co-pays
• Maintain and update accurate patient records and electronic health information, paying specail attention to HIPAA requirements
• Communicate with referring dental offices and coordinate patient care transitions
• Answer high volume, multi-line phone systems, respond to patient inquiries, emails, and manage voicemails

Requirements:

• Prior dental or oral surgery front desk experience strongly preferred
• Familiarity with dental practice management software 
• Knowledge of dental insurance verification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude
• Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer skills
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional healthcare administration education a plus
