    Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

    Position Overview

    We are seeking a professional, customer-focused Patient Access Representative to join our healthcare team in Carrollton, TX. This role is essential in supporting daily front-office operations and ensuring patients receive exceptional service from check-in through appointment scheduling and follow-up communication.

    The ideal candidate will have prior healthcare office experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage patient interactions with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Answer and manage inbound patient phone calls professionally and efficiently

    • Make outbound calls for appointment scheduling, confirmations, and follow-ups

    • Schedule and coordinate patient appointments accurately

    • Collect patient copays and process front-office transactions

    • Enter and update patient insurance information in the electronic health system

    • Verify insurance eligibility and benefits

    • Document patient interactions and updates within patient charts

    • Perform clerical chart preparation and administrative support tasks

    • Fax documents and maintain organized patient records

    • Provide excellent customer service while professionally de-escalating patient concerns or frustrations

    Required Qualifications

    • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a healthcare office or medical front-office setting

    • Experience working with electronic health record (EHR) systems

    • Strong typing and computer skills

    • Knowledge of insurance verification and patient registration processes

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    • Strong customer service and interpersonal abilities

    • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
