The
Patient Coordinator serves as a key point of contact for patients and supports the daily operations of the clinic. This position is responsible for providing a welcoming and professional patient experience while managing check-in and check-out, verifying patient information, coordinating appointments, and supporting clinical staff with administrative needs.
Key Responsibilities- Greet and check in patients upon arrival in a friendly and professional manner.
- Verify patient demographics, contact information, insurance coverage, and other required documentation.
- Collect required forms, signatures, copayments, or other patient information according to clinic procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient information within the electronic medical record (EMR) or scheduling system.
- Communicate with clinical staff regarding patient arrivals, scheduling changes, delays, and other patient needs.
- Help maintain an organized patient flow and waiting area throughout the day.
- Provide excellent customer service while interacting with patients, families, providers, and clinic staff.
- Protect patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA and organizational privacy requirements.
- Assist with additional front-office and administrative duties as assigned.
Must have:
****Maintains a clean and professional appearance at all times.
- Previous experience in a medical office, clinic, hospital, or healthcare setting preferred. Vascular Experience is a huge plus
- Previous patient-facing, front desk, registration, or customer service experience strongly preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to provide professional and compassionate service to patients.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment and managing multiple priorities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with clinical and administrative teams.

Minimum Education / Certifications/Licenses:
High school or equivalent
