Overview:

Paid Time Off:

What You Will Do:

  • Manage patient accounts through both inbound and outbound call campaigns
  • Deliver excellent customer service while assisting patients with inquiries, processing payments, and setting up payment arrangements
  • Accurately document all patient interactions and account activity in accordance with company and client guidelines
  • Efficiently work assigned accounts while meeting productivity and quality standards
  • Ensure all activities comply with state and federal regulations, including HIPAA and client-specific requirements

Work location: Smyrna, GA (Atlanta area)
This position requires completion of a 30-day onsite training period before transitioning to a hybrid work schedule. Please note that periodic in-office attendance will be required throughout the year.

Work Hours/Schedule:
Full-time (40 hours per week)
Monday Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Must be able to work flexible hours and occasional Saturdays.

Required Experience:


Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required
  • At least one year of experience in a hospital business office or medical accounts receivable environment
  • Working knowledge of credit, collections, and customer service principles
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly document account activity and interact professionally with patients and clients
  • Ability to follow established collection processes in accordance with client guidelines
  • Proficiency with personal computers and automated dialing systems
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements, including HIPAA and client-specific policies and procedures

Preferred Qualification:

  • Certified Patient Account Representative (CPAR) credential is a plus
