Patient Account Representative (Fort Worth, TX)

Paladin Consulting is currently hiring a ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­Patient Account Representative to join our team working onsite at our client's office located in Fort Worth, TX.

Job Title: Patient Account Representative 
Work Location: Fort Worth, TX 
Duration: 6 month contract with option to extend 
Education/Experience Required: High School Diploma; One (1) year billing or related experience in home health setting.

Job Description & Responsibilities:

• Conduct internal audits of medical records to ensure billing aligns with state and federal compliance for accurate claims processing.
• Manage electronic and paper claims for various services including Nursing, Rehab, Durable Medical Equipment, and Infusion.
• Reconcile patient accounts and collaborate with accounts receivable.
• Provide financial, volume, and trend data to the Patient Account Manager.
• Act as a liaison among departments and patient accounts, ensuring clear communication with patients, payors, and other departments regarding outstanding accounts.
• Maintain proper documentation and professional conduct at all times.

Skills & Qualifications:

• High School Diploma required.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in computer use.
• Preferred: One year of billing experience in a home health setting or two years of customer service.
• Familiarity with federal and state billing guidelines.
