Join our Team as a Patient Account Coordinator

Are you compassionate, detail-oriented, and passionate about helping patients navigate the financial side of healthcare? We’re looking for a caring and dedicated Patient Account Coordinator to join our team and help us continue our tradition of excellence.

In this role, you’ll play an important part in supporting accurate and timely patient account processing while helping patients and healthcare partners navigate billing and insurance questions. You’ll also serve as a team leader within your area, helping support daily operations, training, and the overall success of the Patient Financial Services team.

What You'll Do:

• Facilitate accurate charging, billing, payment posting, follow-up, and refunding of insurance and self-pay accounts.
• Communicate professionally and courteously with patients and third-party payors to resolve billing and insurance questions.
• Assist with the resolution of delinquent accounts using appropriate and compliant collection practices.
• Support departmental accounts receivable goals through timely and accurate account follow-up.
• Serve as a team leader by assisting with new employee training, auditing, and oversight of daily operations.
• Help maintain department processes, policies, procedures, supplies, equipment, and other operational needs.
• Process correspondence, meeting minutes, invoices, and other departmental documentation accurately and timely.
• Provide a welcoming and professional experience for patients, visitors, and healthcare partners.

Education & Experience:

• Completion of High School or GED is required.
• Knowledge of healthcare billing and collections is preferred.
• Understanding of debits and credits is a plus.
