Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced patient account/self-pay collector to join our client's team. Your primary responsibility will be to follow up on unpaid patient fertility claim balances, ensuring a high level of patient-customer service throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent patient-customer service.
• Make outbound calls to patients to collect open balances.
• Notify customers with high balances and mail past-due notices.
• Review and reconcile patient ledger and balances.
• Follow up on the status of payments.
• Itemize and print courtesy statements for patients.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum one-year billing and/or collections experience
• Fertility A/R experience is highly preferred but not required.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Knowledge of soft collection techniques.
• Compassionate, understanding, and patient-centric approach.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.
• Data entry skills and typing speed of 40 wpm.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
